The design concept of motto Daruma Tray comes from Daruma, the Japan’s wishing mascot, and Japan’s checkout culture.

Daruma is Japan’s wish-making mascot. The tumbler can always return to its original position no matter how it is hit or collided. Its characteristic of remaining upright without falling over symbolizes tenacity and indomitable spirit. In addition to the traditional red color, Bodhidharma tumblers were later painted in other colors, giving them different blessing meanings and meeting different wish-making needs.
